Exercise Library

Our exercise library contains hundreds of exercises with full metadata including primary and secondary muscles, equipment, category, difficulty, force type, movement pattern, and step-by-step instructions. Exercises are sourced from free-exercise-db (public domain) and enriched with MuscleWiki metadata where available. Each exercise page includes safety tips, beginner and advanced variations, and video demonstrations where available. Browse by muscle group, equipment, or difficulty, and use the interactive body map to find exercises for specific muscles. See our Exercise Library page in the app.

AI Workout Plans

BodyFit's AI Coach generates personalised workout plans based on your goals, experience level, available equipment, training frequency, and preferences. Plans adapt over time based on your progress, feedback, and performance data. Each plan includes exercises, sets, reps, rest periods, and progressive overload targets. You can regenerate plans, swap exercises, and log sessions with full performance tracking. The AI Coach also provides weekly training adjustments, catch-up workouts, and monthly training blocks for long-term progression. See our Workouts and My Plan pages in the app.

Training Guides

Our Knowledge Base includes in-depth training guides on progressive overload, workout splits (full body, upper/lower, push/pull/legs), periodisation, deload weeks, exercise selection, and adapting training for specific goals (strength, hypertrophy, endurance, fat loss). Learn the principles behind your AI Coach's recommendations so you can train smarter, understand why certain exercises are prescribed, and make informed adjustments. See our Knowledge Base for the full collection of training articles, and our Getting Started guide for beginner-friendly introductions.

Video & Media Resources

Each exercise in our library includes video demonstrations where available, sourced from MuscleWiki and mapped to alternative exercises where direct video is unavailable. Our video player streams exercise videos without persisting them, respecting provider terms. Exercises without video include detailed text instructions and safety tips. Our Exercise Knowledge Centre provides educational content on form, technique, and common mistakes. See our Exercise Detail pages and Exercise Knowledge Centre in the app for full multimedia resources.
