Accessibility Statement

Version: 2.0.0 Last Updated: 2026-08-04

Our Commitment

BodyFit by Mi7z is committed to making our platform accessible to everyone, including users with disabilities. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What We Do

Responsive design: BodyFit works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, adapting to different screen sizes and orientations.

Keyboard navigation: Core features can be navigated using a keyboard. Focus indicators are visible for users who do not use a mouse.

Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and accessible naming so screen readers can navigate and interpret our content.

Colour contrast: We maintain WCAG AA contrast ratios between text and background colours. Our design system uses accessible colour tokens.

Font sizes: Body text uses a minimum of 16px. Users can further increase text size using browser zoom. On mobile, inputs use 16px minimum to prevent iOS zoom.

Alternative text: Images and icons include alt text or aria-labels where they convey information.

No autoplay: Video and audio content does not autoplay.

Plain language: We write in clear, plain language and avoid unnecessary jargon.

Known Limitations

We are continuously improving accessibility. Some known limitations:

  • Some dynamically loaded content may not immediately announce to screen readers
  • The 3D body viewer (BodyTwin) may not be fully operable via keyboard alone
  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g., exercise videos) may have their own accessibility limitations
  • Our mobile app (when launched) will undergo a separate accessibility audit

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please report it so we can fix it.

Reporting Accessibility Issues

If you have difficulty using BodyFit due to an accessibility barrier, contact us:

  • Email: accessibility@bodyfit.mi7z.com
  • In-app: Settings → Submit Feedback

We investigate all reports and work to fix issues as quickly as possible.

Testing & Improvement

We test BodyFit using:

  • Automated accessibility scanners
  • Keyboard-only navigation testing
  • Screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Colour contrast analysis
  • User feedback from people with disabilities

We are committed to continuous improvement and prioritise accessibility fixes in our development.

Standards

We align with:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • The Equality Act 2010 (UK)
  • The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (as best practice, though BodyFit is not a public sector body)

Changes

We may update this statement as we improve accessibility. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
